As customers dined in at the Red Flower Chinese Restaurant in Williamsburg, Kentucky, an employee dragged in a trash can stuffed with a deer carcass.
“It was really disturbing. There was actually a blood trail that they were mopping up behind the garbage can,” one customer told WTVR.com. “There was like a tail, and like a foot and leg sticking out of the garbage can and they wheeled it straight back into the kitchen.”
An anonymous call was placed to the local health inspector. Upon arrival, the environmental health inspector, Paul Lawson said that he stumbled upon “the craziest thing he’s ever seen.”
“Upon arrival, I confirmed they did have a deer carcass in the facility,” he said.
The animal “had already been gutted” by the time he arrived, which raised “many health and illness” concerns. The restaurant owner’s son admitted that he had found the deer on I-75. And he also admitted to bringing the deer inside, cleaning it, and preparing to dress it.
The son also claimed that he didn’t know that he couldn’t have the deer. He also claimed that he was going to take it home, not serve it to customer.
The restaurant has since been shut down until further investigation.
But the restaurant may reopen after the investigation and the restaurant has been cleaned and sanitized..
“I don’t think I’ll ever eat Chinese food ever again,” said one customer who says she was dining at the restaurant when the deer carcass was hauled in.
How many of you really believe that the restaurant wasn’t going to serve this deer to their customers?
