Everyone’s a critic.
A package containing white powder and a note demanding that Bristol be removed from the show was mailed to CBS studios in Hollywood on Wednesday.
The powder was harmless, but police are treating the package as a credible threat to the 21-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee.
TMZ reports that the package showed up at CBS studios on Wednesday afternoon.
It contained white powder, probably meant to simulate the toxin anthrax, and a note that said, ‘This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on (the show.)’
Bristol, who took third place on the show when she first appeared on in 2010, is part of the Dancing with the Stars: All Stars this season.
Police are still investigating the source of the package.
This isn’t the first time that Bristol was the subject of a powder-filled letter. She received another one in 2010 when she was first on the show.
Threats were so prevalent that year, studio executives stepped up security and even considered changing the format of the show if she made it to the end.
Tsk, tsk, tsk…
I wonder is it because of Sarah Palin’s appearance?
