Antonio Acevedo, 17, and his girlfriend of three years were arguing in the school’s parking lot of Dr Phillips High School in Orlando before class.
School resource officers discovered the two arguing before it escalated.
After it escalated, a call was sent out to parents.
Principal Gene Trochinski sent a voice message to parents, in which he said: ‘A male student injured a female student and then injured himself before he was apprehended by police.’
Investigators say Antonio Acevedo, 17, stabbed his girlfriend of three years, also 17, in the neck with a pocket knife in the parking lot of the high school.
He has now been charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery.
Sgt. Vince Ogburn said: ‘Apparently, he cuts her and then cuts himself.
‘Both were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.’
Asked if the injuries were serious, he replied: ‘A cut is a cut. They are juveniles so we have to take them to the hospital to get them evaluated.’
These young children are so misled.
They are thirsting for love, attention, and just to be special.
I hope this young man get some help.
