Meet The Three Musketeers of Florida, 61-year-old Jeannette Morris; her brother, 63-year-old Harold Anderson; and another woman, 46-year-old Joan Hobart.
These three hoodlums conspirators good citizens of Florida, are charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and aggravated battery, from an incident that happened on Tuesday, January 8th.
So let’s start from the beginning.
Morris, a female truck driver, came home late Tuesday evening around 5:30p.m. to find her ex-husband, (who apparently also stays in the home) Robert Hall, in her Samsula home with another woman.
She called Volusia County Sheriff’s Department for assistance in the removal of the cheating louse.
Around 5:43p.m. Sheriff Kenneth Clark arrived at the home and Morris’ brother Harold Anderson pulled up around the same time.
Upon Clark’s arrival, he noticed that Hall was three sheets to the wind in his words ‘extremely intoxicated’.
Because of Hall’s inebriated state, Clark suggested Morris stay with her brother, Harold Anderson. The latter had also arrived at Morris’ house. Morris, Anderson and Hall agreed Morris should leave that night and stay with her older sibling at his home in Edgewater.
While at her brother’s home, Morris, Anderson, and a friend Joan Hobart begin to drink vodka and discuss the day’s events.
Reminiscing on past indiscretions and abuse from Hall, Morris fueled with liquid courage, began to hatch a plan.
Morris discussed her plan with her brother, but not the entire plan. She was saving the sweetest revenge for herself to enjoy.
Anderson, not wanting to let his sister down, agreed to go with his sister and Hobart, on a return visit to Morris’ home to confront Hall.
Upon arrival, around 7:50p.m. – 7:55p.m., the trio found Hall and began to teach Hall the Lesson of Lessons, as they rained down pain upon him.
Anderson beat Hall and shot him with a cattle prod. He and Morris then tied Hall behind Hobart’s truck by the ankles, reports show.
Morris and Hobart climbed into Hobart’s tan Ford truck and dragged Hall for more than half a mile, Volusia County sheriff’s deputies said. The women then stopped the truck and threw Hall in the back. He later said he heard the pair talk about scalping him and burying him.
Hall was able to untie himself, jump from Hobart’s moving truck and run to a neighbor’s house, reports show. He was bloodied, with cuts all over his body. His underwear was torn, exposing his scraped-up backside.
Hall told the neighbor that his ex-wife is trying to kill him. He says he was dragged behind a truck and his ex-wife was looking for a place to bury him.
The neighbor called 9-1-1.
Sheriff Clark came out again to see what devastation had occurred.
Clark then calls Morris and tells her to meet him at her farmhouse where Morris is later arrested after Clark notices she had dried blood on her sweatshirt and jeans. Anderson was arrested at his house some time later. Joan Hobart is arrested on State Road 415 and Taylor Road in the parking lot of a store the next day.
βI drug him all the way to the concrete,β Morris said, referring to a paved road near her Samsula house where the dragging occurred. βAt least to the corner.β
Morris then told detectives the safest place for her is jail.
The feelings espoused by brother and sister revealed a hatred for the 54-year-old Hall sparked by the years of abuse of Morris by Hall, court records show.
Court records also show reports of abuse from Hall by Morris that date back as far as 2007.
They are all being held without bail.
Ok…
Let me say this first…
I don’t think ANYONE should ever take the law in their own hands…
EVER!
But am I the only one smiling just a little?
Oh well!
